hang ups

I used to have this boyfriend and he is a total emo dude. I love emos because they are so hot and can be pretty sensitive, anyways I was on the phone with him and we were talking about hanging out that saturday, when I told him I had gotten him something he sighed and asked me what it was. when I didnt tell him what it was he got really frusterated, then all of the sudden he hung up the phone, I called him back and he was just going crazy laughing and then he hung up again, when I called back the third time he was so pissed and I had no idea why. then when I got him talking which took a while he told me what was wrong and blamed me. like I said a total emo and when I told him what it was (12 gauge earings) he hung up the phone on me. then when I woke up the next morning I looked at my phone and there were 3 new text messages from him, he told me he was sorry and that he loved the present, and that he loved me. that night when he called I didn’t answer then on the third try of him calling I answerd and all he said was I’m sorry and I love you. I hung up the phone and was in tears. what do I do when a guy does that to me? HELP ME!!!
