i was at the movies earlier today with my two friends, and some 50yr old was yelling at everyone telling them to shutup, there was a part in the movie that made you jump a bit & my friends sayd "ohhh!" along with the other people who were there, the man told us to "Shut the fu*k up" or else he was going to get a manager. I was like "we are not talking, and you are noone to tell me what to say" he didnt reply back, we werent talking or anything during the movie, a lot of people were & he was doing the same thing, but HE could laugh & scream whenever he wanted. When the movie was over i requested to talk to a manager & the police officer to me that the guy told him i was being obnoxious & that if i didnt like it i needed to go to a different movie theater. Is this really how a POLICE OFFICER should handle a situation? By letting a 50yr old talk down on 3 16yr olds? He was being so rude, it was unreal :| I didnt even say anything bad to him -_-
I don't think it was a good idea to talk back at the man. Not only is it annoying to the other people trying to watch the movie, but if you seek help after the movie it doesn't help your case. The simple fact that you also did partake in the talking makes you seem just as guilty as the old man. I'm not saying you are, but thats what others may think. Had you not said anything to the guy, you would not have drawn attention to yourself and he most likely would not have told the cop you were being obnoxious.
mabey he is racist was he black or any different race then u r by any chance? and i think u should have got the manager and told him he was harrassing u since he wants to play threats regarless of his reason for doing it. or u should cuss at him back or just kill him with kindness just keep saying nice things and that would get on his nerves . or act kool like u dont give a fu*k say things like thats cool watev ok thats nice im srry did u say something oh were u talking 2 me? stuff like that
I'm sorry you had to go through that Irene. I would have continued to enjoy my time there no matter what the old man said. I think the reason why the officer took the old man's side is cause he's an elderly person, but he had no right talking to you that way.
If I were you Irene, I would send a complaint to the headquarters of that movie theater and let them deal with that mess, if they don't fix things up, they don't deserve to run a business in your area.
i think screaming in the pics at children is bad... would the wimp have said the same to a real big bloke? no, i bet he wouldnt have. if it happens agian you yourself should go and get a person that works there and make a complaint against the person being abusive
I think you did as much as you could...unfortunately, if the people who run an establishment don't care enough about how their patrons experience the service...well, in the long run, the business will lose. More than likely, the manager isn't the owner.
