Should I split up my hamsters?

I have 2 robuskan hamsters both are males ( so the pet shop told me) up until now they have been fighting and are sreeching. They no longer sleep together and sleep separetely in the cage. one of them is now smaller than the other and has fur missing from it’s bottom and looks really sore.

They fight every night and am getting concered for this one as to why his fur is missing should I split them up?

hamster male or female cannot be put together with the same sex they will most defenitly get into a fight!!! but they are fine if its just one male and one female but not a good idea your house wil soon be full of little baby hamsters lol its true so yeah seperate them!!

Actually, hamsters aren’t ever supposed to live together.

Petshops are stupid to house them together, and usually do it only for space or when they are really young. Hamsters are territorial and need to live alone.

Yes, you should deffinitely split them up, unless you want a really messed up hamster on your hands sometime soon. They’re animals, and they fight sometimes, just get a seperate cage for the other one, and let him/her heal.

Yea, male hamsters especially can be very aggressive to others. Split them up soon!
