Hairdye disaster, help me please???

My hair is dyed dark brown, it used to be black (hairdye disaster!!!) but after using head and shoulders for 4 months its starting to lighten. But not much, im going to get my whole head lightened at the salon, just whats the lightest ill be able to go from this colour? (look at pic to see my hair now)

If I get it stripped, whats a good intensive conditioner to use? because I dont muich fancy the scarecrow-esque brittle hair look :) hahah x

you can probably go any colour but it depends on what your willing to do. if you strip it which is removing all the colour from your hair you can have it any colour as you can dye over it otherwise I thik your just have to kep dying it lighter gradually .
