Hair to darkbrown

I did my hair a dark brown and know I’m trying to go a light brown but the colour does’nt change. What can I do?

thats because you cant dye a lighter colour over a darker one it wont show up just like when you colour with dark brown texta a lighter brown colour over it wont show up youll either need to bleach your hair (or get it profesionally bleached which is advised) and then dye it light brown wait untill the colour grows out or use dandruff shampoo and shampoo not specialied for colour treated hair to help fade the darker colour if you used a non permanent dye it will fade a lot faster
