How to know where to position streaks in my hair?

I have a light brown/dark blonde hair colour which is starting to look very dull…I want a modern and differnt funky hairstyle…im thinking of trying different streaks inmy hair of poosibly peroxide blonde but I dont know where to position them!?

I WENT THROUGH HAIR SCHOOL AND AM ALWAYS CHANGING MY HAIR FOLLOWING HOLLYWOOD TRENDS AS WELL AS CREATING MY OWN. COLOR IS SOO FUN TO EXPERIENCE… MY NATURAL COLOR IS A LIGHT TO MED BROWN. RIGHT NOW I HAVE ENHANCED WITH NATURAL BLOND HIGHLIGHTS AND HOT RUM (WHICH IS LIKE A CARMEL) ALSO ADDED SOME VIOLET UNDER THE BLOND FROM 2008 UPCOMING HAIR SHOW. ON BROWN YOU SHOULD DO SOME HONEY, OR CARMEL, AND MAYBE SOME IVORY BLOND AROUND THE FACE IT WOULD LOOK FABULOUS DEPENDING ON THE HAIRSTYLE YOU ARE TRYING TO SPORT.
