How do I get my hair silver or white?

hair bleach. but its not good for it. i knew a girl and she did it, and after using it so much her hair got really dry and thin. it just looked bad after a while. I think you can get it from beauty stores i’m sure. good luck(:

The only way you can get your hair white without growing it from old age is bleaching it. Because you have darker hair you will most likely need to bleach it twice over an extended period of time. Then you buy a purple toner/shampoo which will strip the yellow out of the hair and turn it white. Bleaching it will cause your hair to become dry and extremely damaged. To fix this you would most likely need to buy products to puts moisture back into your hair. The toners you can buy at a salon but the bleach can be any blonde hair dye.

Are talking about the really light blonde/white color? If so here is what you need to do…..Start by getting your hair as healthy as it can be. Next , bleach your hair as blonde as possible in order to tone it, which is where the white will start to come from. A light blonde should suffice….Buy a purple toner, the reason you’ll need purple toner is because purple counteracts with brassiness of blonde, turning it white after a few tonings. Get a really good shampoo and conditioner that is made for blonde hair, rinse off with a mixture of cold water and distilled white vinegar. The vinegar helps the toner color stay longer. Then condition really well….You may want to consult a hair dresser just to be absolutely sure it turns out, or even have them do it….By the way, bleaching can be damaging but not as horrible as everyone thinks….If you want to do this your self you should be able to find all these things at a beauty store…..Hope This Helped In Some Way and Good Luck!
