how would I go really blonde myself without ruining my hair, its been coloured, bleached.. previously so the condition isnt great anyway, I just dont want further damage

Get really blonde foils put through the top section of your hair. It will lighten the look but won’t damage every strand of hair. After this buy a good deep conditioning treatment and use a couple of times a week until 6 weeks after then get more foils. Keep taking care of your hair and reduce the use of heat products like straighteners (only use on special occasions) and GRADUALLY get little pieces of your hair lightened until you are happy. DO NOT attempt really blonde at home.
