Hair problems lol

I have straight hair but when I wake up in the morning I wet my hair, put in leave in conditioner, and then straghten out my banges and stuff because the straightner I have seems to make my hair shinneir.it looks good in the morning but then by an hour wehn its fully dry my hair is frizzy. How can I controll frizzy hair? ( does geting layers cut help?) what are sum good products to use to keep heir under controll. Thanks :)

If you are straightening your hair while it’s wet I hope you are using a wet-to-dry straightener specifically designed for that purpose, otherwise you will be doing more harm than good. I’ve always blowdryed my hair completely before even bringing out the iron. You may not even need to wet it, just straighten it - try a hair serum that is designed to defend against damage from heated appliances and seal out frizz. I use John Frieda ‘Frizz-Ease’ hair serum with thermal protection and it works really well. You put a small amount in your hair WHILE IT IS WET then run the straightening iron over your hair once its dry and it locks in the shine and seems to stay straight for longer.
