It depends on how damage your hair is and what type of mask you use (eg repair, moister) if u use a repair mask dont use it to offten once or twice a week should be fine but now many masks can be used as a rinse (condtioner) but to much protien (found in repair masks ) can do nmore harm than good but also u should use mositer rinses in conjunction
