Why does hair grow more rapidly on different parts of the body rather than others?

Answer #1

it is due to the hair folicles, tbh im no expert on hair but it is the same with most mammals. The hair folicles at some points in the body are just more active then in other parts. Each strand of hair is made up of the medulla, cortex, and cuticle. This is another theory but here could be anotber reason- hair is also a protector, lets take eyelashes for example, made to protect eyes, again lets take camels, they have evolved and developed long thick eyelashes to defend against tge sand in tbe enviroment they live. Dont forget we have hair growing EVERYWHERE on our body, some is jyst more visible.
