What is another way to make my hair grow out a little faster besides waiting?

Answer #1

There is no other way, just be patient…;)

Answer #2

go natural…no perms or anything try to refrain from heat..what I do is blow dry it with cold air or air dry…take vitamins everyday

Answer #3

idk if this would work to make it grow, but their is a vitamin mineral pill for healthier nails and hair at walmart. i also read that horse shampoo can help it grow stronger, but if your hair is damaged that your hair won’t grow as fast. to be honest i got my hair trimmed like 6 times one year and it went from above the shoulder to the bottom of my boobs in a year. it grew really fast.

Answer #4

There is no real way to grow your hair faster. get extensions !

Answer #5

A client my mother works for was able to grow her hair out 6 inches in a year by rubbing olive oil and another oil on her scalp every few days.

Answer #6

there is actually. get your split ends trimmed of regularly and your hair will go faster. also research some home remedies for growing hair out fast on google and you’ll get great results(:

Answer #7

oh yeah…I forgot about that…that actually sounds like a plan…:) lots of nourishment in the olive oil…besides what they do back in the day when they didnt have all those vit’s & minerals? They used Castor oil on the scalp & roots to make it grow better, healthier & also gave it a nice shine too! I completely forgot about all of this…I also read that some people also swear by a mixture of 1 beaten egg a few tablespoons of olive oil; mix it well then pour evenly onto the scalp & root to tip.cover with a shower cap for like 30-45 mins then make sure you wash it out thoroughly with shampoo & conditioner. Some also swear by yogurts, milk & honey which adds shine & smoother hair.
Thanks Katherine for reminding me of that.

Answer #8

your welcome, it was something my mom was just telling me about the other day so it was fresh in my mind

Answer #9

Trim it evey so often to get rid of split ends. Wash it every other day. You can make yourself an avacado egg hair mask. BASICally mashup an avocado then beat in two egg yolks leaveit in your hair for a bit or put on a shower cap and using a hot air blowdryer to your head over the cap. You could do the same with olive oil or mayonnaise. Or go in for hot oil treatments. Also massage your scalp to stimulate hair growth. basically, keep your hair healthy.

I havent thought about it in so long, have to really do it bcz my hair is a mess…I dont trust many people cutting my hair since it is very very long so only my aunt (whom is a hair dresser til this very day) is allowed to cut my hair…:P I have noticed a lot of split ends lately and noticed it is really dry. (climate change & water is different here…really hard…if you know what I mean) I use both shampoo & conditioner then after a towel dry comb my hair so I get out all the tangles & then use my fingers to run through with some leave in moisturizer to style my hair and allow it to dry naturally (if I dont I would like someone just put me in the dryer with an Afro..like this i get my wavy curls) :P

Answer #11

Hair grows about half an inch a month, regardless of how healthy it is. If you really know how to speed it up or slow it down, congrats… you are about to be very rich!

Answer #12

i dont take good care of my hair i shampoo it daily but i can never use conditioner or anything because my hair gets oily fast. On top of that i blowdry it and straighten it daily

Answer #13

Take Biotin. It’s a dietary supplement and it’s amazing for hair, skin and nails. I started taking it a couple months ago because I bleached my hair. My hair has never grown this fast in my entire life, and my nails are really strong, instead of thin and brittle. Also, take a regular old multi-vitamin every day, and get regular sleep. Your hair actually grows faster when you sleep, so if you aren’t sleeping enough, it slows down hair growth. Plus, all the hair mask ideas the other ladies mentioned are also great for keeping your healthy, and hopefully grow longer.

Answer #14

Ah, I see…i think i just need a new style…my hair is so long now and I just cut it a few months ago…when I take it out of my bun(meaning twirling it then putting a scrunchie to hold all that hair) my hair reaches my butt cheeks :P when it is wet, a little longer…ugh such a pain to comb & run the moisturizer through my hair with my fingers…that is why when i am home i just tie it up in a bun…i was thinking about getting it long layered…because it is one length right now. was going to try Anastacia’s look(the singer) when she had the long layers…only i am a brunette…so not sure how it would look on me. What do you think? wish I knew how to post the pic so you can get an idea…

Answer #15
