Why use hair glaze?

I have hair that is brown gray I have it colored with with a warm brown single process then highlighted with warm bronze highlights,I just had a no color glaze put on for shine and my hair seem so much lighter and not really shiney. Is there anything in a glaze that would strip color

Answer #1

Glazes generally have no ammonia, they only deposit color or shine properties. Your color only seems lighter because the glaze process removes buildup that makes hair seem dull.

Answer #2

Depends on ammonia content or solvents that might break down any temporary colorant in your hair. Glazes are spendier, but my wife now swears buy them. They work a lot better than the hair dyes she used to use.
