Hair Dying Blonde

I Have Naturally Ginger Hair, But now I have dyed it Dark Brown. I want to dye my hair blonde now and have done for some while. People Have Recomended Proxide To me..! Is This The way to go.?!

I’d go to your hairdresser and get it sorted. I’m ginger as well, had my hair dyed dark brown then blonde. Depends how well the dye takes to the hair, you may need it doing a few times before it works properly. Or get it highlighted, then just keep putting more in till you get the effect you want. There’s nothing wrong with ginger hair - when I was blonde, I used to get called some awful names, but now I’m ginger, my life’s on the up! It’s up to you anyway xx

you could go to the store and get a hair color stripper. but also buy the blonde hair coloring too. warning, after using the stripper you hair will be a funny hair because you are taking all of the color out. so don’y get freaked. -k-. let your hair dry after you are done stripping it, then dye it, also get a color one step lighter than what you want to color it also. get back to me on that one.

Just go to a salon, then to touch up you can do it yourself. Since your hair is dark it will probably turn orange first. If you are going all out blond it will need stripped. You can try to strip it yourself and then add highlights to make it look more real but its hard to strip your own hair it can turn out patchy.

Thats her hair after stripping it from light brown. It’s a little orange, and it took her several tries to get the stripping process right.
