Hair coloring advice???

My current hair color is a copper/strawberry blonde(it was an accident that it turned this color). I want it to be just a light blonde with out this orange color. Spoke with several different professionals and they all have told me different things. One said to get professional highlights put in, another said to redye it a medium blonde, and someone else said that I need to strip all the color out to get it blonde. I just read a blog where the girl was in the same situation as me and she used ash blonde to get rid of the orange. Will this work? I can not stand to look at this orange color anymore. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Why does coloring your hair have to be so darn difficult? So do you think if I use the ash that should work? I have never had coloring problems before. This stinks. I really do not want to go to a salon because they are expensive and too time consuming. How does ash hair color work? Will it take out the red all together? Thank you so much for your replies. I really appreciate it.

ash blonde will probably work, just don’t get any hair dye with gold in it. I have red in my hair too, and I wanna have light blonde hair by christmas, my brother said I’m gonna have to use a ton of bleach

I asked advice from several people just to see what they think. And some of them had good ideas. I am just scared to take the next step. Someone reccommended using a toner to get rid of the orange. I don’t know what to do. I know that I don’t want this color anymore.

I think instead of totally changing your color, you should use treatment that’ll intensify or accent your natural color
