Answer #1

Answer #2

but dont professionals use hacing to fix other people’s computers from like far away? the microsoft people do it all the time and i dont think thats illegal

Answer #3

Yes, but that is not hacking, especially when it’s their servers or their own product. Most likely they ask for consent.

Answer #4

The term hacking means that you are doing the cyber-activity illegally. The moment when a person reaches and/or breaches through another party’s information without out their permission, that’s when the activity is considered hacking; illegal. Changing, modifying, looking, etc. files and settings is part of hacking. You can access public data like IP addresses and such without hacking, or it being illegal at all.

Answer #5

so you’re saying that there is absolutely no way possible that someone could hack another computer and have it be legal. like there isn’t even one special condition?

Answer #6

Asking for the owner’s consent would make it legal. Then that branches out.

Answer #7

Perhaps police work?

Answer #8

alright, i think i understand now. thank you for the information

Answer #9

That ultimately also leads to consent, by getting a warrant.

Answer #10

Ehm, when you begin to hack it?

Answer #11

i guess that will be a crime
