Answer #1

Nope. its your body, if you dont want to, you dont have to. your not doing any harm to anyone.

Answer #2

No, its not selfish. their yours. it would be nice to help but thats up to you.

Answer #3

Answer #4

Answer #5

I personally think it is. I mean no offense. I am just curious on why you asked that question. I do not believe you are going to need them when you die…

Answer #6

Oh no Lily. It’s your body no one should ever HAVE to do something. It’s your final decision and your body. It’s not selfish I mean people die everyday and its not like if you dont give up your organs the world is gonna suddenly end millions of people donate everyday and millions dont so its about 50/50 anywayz hehe

Answer #7

NO it’s not. yes it is generous to donate it but at di end of di day it is YOUR body

Answer #8

Well me and my friend maria (aka crzycalie14) were talking today about organs and I just said that I would never want to people digging thru my body when i die and have have my organs in other people. I just want to be happily burried in the ground with every part of me and she said that it was bad that I thought that. So yeah

Answer #9

I am just saying that it would make God so happy to Donate ur body and I want to do wat ever makes God happy. I just feel like I have to do it or I will not go to heaven

Answer #10

actually…according to Christianity, it’s not “right” no tamper with the body after death because it is interfering with God’s work… if a person is meant to die let them die don’t put other bother parts in them… if God feels it is their time to go…let them go… just saying…

Answer #11

Maybe if we look at it differently, and call it “generous of spirit” when people want to be organ donors, rather than call you selfish…

You have a long life ahead…you may just change your mind…

Answer #12

It’s all your opinion, organ donors must not understand why someone would not want to donate their organs after they die, since you’ll be off this planet anyway.

Answer #13

do you go to the doctor? does your family go to the doctor? because odds are, you probably wouldnt be alive today without some sort of medical intervention at some level for either you or one of your ancestors.

Answer #14

Uhm dnzi24, you do know this was directed at you right? You’re talking about God deciding when people were to die. Perhaps you need to stop going to the doctor. And while you’re at it, quit using the internet. It was man made.

Answer #15

body**

& i didn’t say u shouldn’t receive medical attention I’m just saying that if it’s dat person’s time to go… and he/she has let’s say… 5% chance of living …u should just let them go yes its kinda harsh but its apart of life

Answer #16

What has letting a person go got to do with organ donation? Are you trying to save your nonsensical argument? Because it isnt working.

Answer #17

well u’re di one bringing up doctors and stuff dat had nothing to do with what I was talking about :S I was just trying to make a point jeez….

Answer #18

Yes. And what exactly is your point? You said if it is a person’s time to die. Now, exactly who is going to decide this probability of a person dying except a doctor? So, you’re saying this very doctor who is giving you certain probabilities should interfere in some cases but not in others? And who exactly is going to make that call? You? Are you going to decide at what probability a person has of living that the doctor should perform their magic which sometimes goes against God and sometimes doesnt? You know, you’re not exactly helping your cause. I think your fellow believers would thank you to stay out of it.

Answer #19

Ok, you do have a point but no I’m not saying that. It all depends on the situation but Yes, sometimes we might have to go against what the bible says … and sometimes we can’t take it too literally either…we’re not perfect but crzycalie14 was saying that she feels she wont go to heaven if she doesn’t donate organs and I disagree( as said in above comments) my point is u can’t go to hell for not donating your body parts and since she is speaking from a Christian point of view…the “Christian” thing to do would be to not donate it since it is against Christianity to tamper with the body after death… that’s all I’m saying.

Answer #20

It’s neither. Not everybody wants to donate. It’s your own choice and it pretty much comes down to what you believe and how you feel about the situation.
