he thiniks of you as a friend so make him think of you as more. flirt with him, let him see you flirting with other people, talk about past relationships with him just casually but it will make him think about you in that way. just break the friend cycle and make him think

well I think you need to spend more time with let him know your true feelings for him and see how that works out but if he does just want to be friends there is not much you can do to change his mind
