Have you guys seen the Facebook group "Wolf Butchering, Cooking and Recipes"?
It’s horrible and senseless. I commented last night because they were going on and on about how they’re destroying the elk populations and that they’re good for nothing. Helloooo, it’s simple biology. Every species has a niche (a role) that they play in the ecosystem. If you remove one species, you mess up the whole entire system. Wolves control the populations of their prey and they also feed on sicker/weaker prey which keeps the gene pool strong. They do so much for the environment and it frustrates me that people can be so cruel and ignorant…. You are so right I have never heard of that group but I really like animals and I can’t stand to even think about any of them being hurt. You are a great person to help these animals. ( Or I think you are helping them by letting others know about these people ) You definitely have the right to be upset with these people and I totally agree with you.
