If you’re under 18, you need your guardian, a form of identification (School ID works fine), and, it may not be the case with the shop you’re going to, but I needed to show a copy of my birth certificate.

I’m not so keen on thinking of guys with belly piercings, but who am I to say what you’re gonna get?

The piercing is more like 60 to 80 at a professional shop. Most places take 14-17 with parental consent, meaning they must be there. 18 and up need an ID. You would be suprised by how many men get their navels pierced, it is not as uncommon as you think. And yes, I mean both strait and gay men.

I think that if it will look good on you, then get it. If you were straight itd probably seem a little weird. Bi doesnt seem weird or gay. Id get it if you want. And Im not sure about the prices in your area, but any place I’ve been its like $20 to get it done and thats basically just because of the ring. They should pierce you with a ring that you can turn until it heals, but you can start out with any regular belly ring. I think you just need a parent or guardian who’s 18 to sign. Maybe its different there, but if your parents wont take you, have a friends parent that would.
