Those dudes sound a little shallow especially if they say to your face they don’t like how you look. I personally think you’re very pretty. Don’t pay attention to those guys. You’ll find someone sooner or later. Maybe you should try practicing some more confidence. Maybe try a new hairstyle or some new clothes and that would probably give more confidence because if a girl has confidence then it is very attractive. But I think you’re already pretty and you shouldn’t let those guys bring you down. There are better guys out there

Well i happen 2 b VERY self consious & i actually lost 10/15lbs bc i was told sevral times i was fat & i did my make-up like that bc the said that my make-up was 2 heavy….ive done SO much 2 myself 4 looks & i cant gain my self confidence back bc i happen 2 b VERY unpopular at school & i get teased & called Emo (hard 2 believe rite?) & Whore bc i kissed a guy & he told…….its hard 4 me bc i’ve dated everyone in my “RANGE” at school according 2 the populars…..idk what 2 do….I HATE FESTUS MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!!!

OK, so let me just say, that your confidence will NEVER improve… if you don’t learn to do what you do, FOR YOU :D (haha, hey that rhymed). You know what? I think you’re beautiful. You see? everyone’s opinion is different! And lets face it, we can’t please everyone. Therefore you, my dear, are the one who’s opinion matters. I do, however, love playing around with peoples looks (i think i should be a cosmetologist XD) So I have a question for you. Have you ever done your hair with bangs? I think they would look really cute on you!! I would get side bangs if I were you. Hmm, or maybe straight across bangs.. XD

just be yourself there is no point of changing yourself for anyone and if they dont like you for you then theres no point of pursuing that so move on to the NEXT one!!!!!!!!!!

I completely understand how you feel. In elementary school, and all through high school, I was told I was ugly, flat, my nickname was emo. I also became very self conscious. I had no friends, I kept mostly to myself, my self conscious was extremely low. I kept trying to lose weight because I thought I was fat and that it would improve my looks, and quickly became underweight. I would constantly hope I’d get a bigger bust and look prettier. I wanted friends, I wanted boys to like me and the way I look, I wanted to be popular, to have my locker decorated when it was my birthday. But you know what? I’ve come to learn that none of these things matter. Looks fade, those kind of friends probably wont be your friends in the long run, and those kinds of boys are most definately not going to be worth all the trouble. During my first two years of highschool, I continued to feel that wway and get teased, but you know what? I met a boy who liked me for me. I was quiet and didnt talk much, I had given up on trying to look good, and didnt put makeup on, and never stuffed my bra, but somehow, he liked me. See, he liked me because he enjoyed my company, and my personality. And soon after that we started dating and soon that became love. And he reminds me each day that he thinks I am beautiful in my own special way. These kinds of boys do last, weve been together almost two years, and have hopes of one day being married. Don’t be in a hurry to find a boyfriend, wait for one to come to you, one who can appreciate you and love you for who you are. There is no point in trying to change yourself, to gain the love of someone because then that someone is loving someone else, and you begin hating yourself. Wait for the right guy and you will get no regrets in life. You won’t one day have to wake up and wish you never did something. Confidence is everything. Walk with your head up, keep your back straight and look everyone in the eyes. The guys you’re talking about sound really shallow. There’s better guys out there. You’ll find someone who likes you exactly the way you are. Don’t change for those boys, they don’t care, so they don’t deserve your time. Personally, I think you’re really pretty.
