Guitar for a beginner?

I was wondering what would be the best guitar for a beginner? And anything else that would help?

Bc I want to learn how to play, I did have a guitar but long story short my dad had better things to do than to teach me… So my guitar sat in the bottom of my closet til I gave it to my cousin.

since you are a beginner right now, I would maybe rent a classical or acoustic, or electric guitar (really which ever kind of guitar you are hoping to learn.) once you find that you really want to continue with guitar, and your a little bit better, I would invest in a guitar. do some research, or go to a local store, and this will help you pick your final pick. if your serious about playing guitar, get something nice, and it doesn’t always have to be expensive.

most people say acoustic, but both me and my sister had an easier time with electric.

I’d say acoustic. standard size, unless you’re unusually small or something. lol.

acoustic start with that then go on with electric :)
