sometimes but it depends the longer you have them in for and the bigger the hole the less chance it will ever close up once a hold gets too big and the skin fully helas around the peircing, it wont ever close up because its alreday healed and skin canrt just reatatch itself if theres a big old gaping hole if youve had your ears peirced and gauged for more than a few years, I wouldnt expect them to close up also the scar will always be there and it may have deformed a bit leaving you woth a raised bump or indent

my sister got her ears peirced when she was about 8 when she was about 15 she stopped wearing earings eventually her ears closed up, she then neede 2 get them re peirced so they do close up, how long does it take? not sure xxx

Well I have a spacer (gauged) in my ear and I’ve had it in for a while now, but even when I took it out for quite some time it didnt close up but I guess it depends on the size.

I’ve been gaging my ears since I was 13. I got up to a 2.

I had to take them out when I worked for fedex, and they shrank back down to a 10 in only a few short weeks.

it does depend on how big the hole is.
