Grunge or screamo?

grunge is more deep and they dont always scream a genre thats hard to define think ‘nirvana’: loud at sometimes ironic and acoutic at other times

screamo bands…well scream lol its just a mix of punk and metal basically for the kiddies like death metal

Grunge is more of a fashion statement with roots in punk rock. Screamo is just another name for “hardcore punk”. I imagine that the combination of the two would be unkempt politirocker with a greazy mohawk and sleeveless flanel. :)
