Grossness of Piercings

Umm… I’m a bit confused. I was looking up corset piercings and under one of the pics I was looking at had a few comments under them. Most people that replied to the pic just said “eww” or “thats gross” I personaly think most piercings are cute. (within reason) but just because something is out of the ordinary does not make it “gross”.

So… why do most people say piercings are so “gross”? Yes I admit it isnt natural, but there is nothing gross about. Its STERILIZED metal. So whats the big fuss?

because people have different opinions, some people like piercings and think its cool and use it as self expression while others think its gross, its just there opinion, like its your opinion that piercings are cool. they probably wonder why you like corset piercings, like how you wonder why they think its gross.

People just can’t get use to the fact that people want to express themselves.

Beats me. I have 27 piercings, mostly on my face and ears and you should see the looks I get walking down the street! :) I’m proud to be different, though and fair enough if people don’t want to get pierced further than their lobes, just don’t press opinions on people like myself and my friends.

No piercing is gross. Who cares what those idiots say. Ignore them. Piercings are forms of self expression and body art, just like tattoos. And there’s NOTHING gross or “ew” about that at all. As long as you get your piercings/tattoos done PROFESSIONALLY and you take care of them afterwards, there’s nothing wrong with them AT ALL.
