Makeup and dress

How would I keep my foundation nice on a night out without it going patcy towards the end of the night?? And also, I have just bought a cream and gold greek style dress for this friday night out and don’t know how to wear my hair as it is shoulder length with short layers on top. I was thinking curly but wudn’t know how to curl it as its quite short any ideas please??

For the foundation qs. Scrub your skin before applying makeup, then use tonic water and then moisturize so that there are no dead skin cells, but a nice even surface to put makeup on. Then put on foundation in moderate amounts which is the same shade as your skin tone in circular motions and in the end also in circular motions apply a loose or compact powder to give a matt and evened out finish :)

For your hair I would suggest straightening it, but like in a frame around your face curl in edges and also curl like the lower half of your hair in the front (like the layer that is visible when you push all of you hair on your chest). Its kind of hard to explain, but I hope you understood what I meant! :)

Foundation needs to be applied lightly. If you have dry skin, make sure you apply a moisturizer first.

If your hair is “quite short” as you say, you have less options for styling…curling isn’t difficult, just use a curling iron.
