Graphics resolution on computer screen pah!

What size is a goodsize? Everything is too big booo d: How many hurts should it be? 60 hertz? 75? Or 85?

Pah d: why is my computer going widescreen? ;_;

Answer #1

Size – depends on how much you want to spend. Most people are getting 17” or 19” or even bigger — some people are getting 24” and 26”!!!

On the “hertz” that will depend on the monitor and your video card. If you’re going to get LCD then unless you get a high-end one, it’ll be 60 or 75 hertz. Other than you being able to select it, you wont have any control. In most cases, the default setting is more than fine.

On your other question — Could be any number of reasons. The biggest one is that you changed the resolution of the screen, and it can’t handle it properly… OR the setting that was picked is a wide-screen setting. Just pick a different setting — try the others, I’m sure you’ll find the one that’s correct for your monitor.
