No, Evanescence is not Goth. Amy Lee herself is Plasti Goth(dresses Goth on certain occasions, such as concerts, ect, look the term up). Before anyone even says it NO Marilyn Manson is not, has never been and NEVER will be Goth, he’s shock rock, deal with it people

If you want Goth bands try looking up the ones that played a hand in the creation of the Goth Subculture(yes it is an actual subculture) in 1979. Siouxsie and the Banshees Sex Gang Children Sisters of Mercy Cobweb Strange Bauhaus Fields of Nephilim Interlock ect some say the cure, I kinda disagree

you also have some symphonic Goth bands such as Tales of Dark Flowing Tears Forever Slave Ect I’ld say google it, however, you’ve too many people not knowing wth they’re doing now a days and not knowing a thing about Goth and labeling band titles under the term. I’ld say your best bet is Wiki If you do know all the bands and such like you say yu do, then why not just look up the bands for the name of the singers on a search engine?

yes! amy lee is not goth..she never claimed to be goth..even in her music shows that she is only trying to sing in the dark side..her unique dress is a victorian style…for me goth is like wawi navarosa of the Late Isabel…she is extremely gothic..
