Got a D and F on my midterm! :( How do I tell my parents?

You were sick. Your parents should understand.

I missed 28 days (And then some that were waived) last semester. I had surgery and a few more health related problems. So when I failed math and english, my mom understood. So maybe your’s will too.

You should also have your parents talk to your teachers…if you were sick and needed additional time to study, your teacher should accommodate you. If they won’t, perhaps your parents should talk to them.

Well if you were sick they should understand that, shouldn’t they? Just explain to them that you missed too much while you were away sick and didn’t have time to catch up before the final marks went in. Assure them that your next report will be much better.

Your parents should understand the reasoning for not taking the quizzes or tests on time. They should understand the fact you were sick. They should talk to your teachers so your teachers can give you extra time. Just explain calmly that you were sick and the next report, you’ll do better. They shouldn’t flip out.

I’m supposed to have their signature, so I can’t hide them.

Hide the tests.

talk to your teachers and ask for a seconde chance since you were ill they should have given you more time to study,if not ask your parents to talk to them.
