Google calendar trouble

I have just upgraded my software on my P.C to XP service pack 3. since then I am unable to add entries into my Google canlender. I think there is a firewall problem, how do I fix it

Well Google Calendar is web-based, so check that your firewall isn’t blocking the website. You can usually do it through the control panel if you’re using Windows Firewall, and add the site to the “Exceptions” list. Other programs like Norton or McAfee also have these exception lists.
