What is a good perm for long straight hair?

I have definitely been considering getting a perm and I need to know what would look good on long straight hair that is easy to handle. I like loose curls but I don’t know

Answer #1

All perms are the same basically…the only difference is they use different size curlers depending on how loose or tight you want the curls.

Answer #2

Loose curls look more like what a curling iron can do, without having to curl it all the time.

Answer #3

Well…i was thinking more closer to the tighter curls but not kinky like…i don’t know its hard to explain.

Answer #4

loose perm thats what i am getting. but i have wavy hair.

Answer #5

Here is a picture of tight curls, and a picture of loose curls. Just to give you an idea. :)

Answer #6

In my opinion loose looks better, but it is your decision.

Answer #7

yes i think loose looks better, because tight curls is what my sister got and her head ended up looking like a fuzz ball.

Answer #8

lol, yep.

Answer #9

Okay a HUGE downside to perms is when they grow out your natural hair is straight but where it’s permed is curly so it ends up looking extremely odd. If it’s something you really want to do go for it though. But keep in mind it’s really awkward looking when it grows out.
