Good Grammar?

I am a stickler for correct grammar and spelling. Nevermind annoying, I find it extremely disconcerting that there are so many atrocious spellers and grammar fiends out there! In fairness there are many people whose first language is not English and I give a certain amount of lee way to them during their learning curve, but if you are going to use a language use it correctly! The worst of the lot are the English speakers who seemingly cannot follow simple grammar or spelling rules. Read more, it will improve your vocabulary (LIKE is NOT an adjective), it will improve your grammar (WHO is a subject pronoun while WHOM is in the objective case) and is will improve you spelling (believe me I have seen so many “beleive/s”, didn’t anyone learn I before E except after C?) So grab a book and educate yourself. Soapbox gone!

I don’t mind bad spelling an grammar…but I really cannot read when someone tYp3S L1K3 Th1S…it’s irritating and then I just skip the question.

also another thing that bothers me is WHEN PEOPLE TYPE THEIR WHOLE QUESTION IN CAPITAL LETTERS…it feels like they are screaming and it also makes it difficult to read.

I do my best to type clearly,I sometimes catch myself if I misspell a word,if someone messages me typing like that I simply say “Type in English or I will not reply”

and yeah, I hate it when people type like:

gahh it takes me ages to read haha and it makes them sound like chavs -.- x

THAT took me FOREVER to interpret!! lol. ahah. lol. if people writ like ths, its fine, but th1$ 1$ n0t 0k. lol.

I know I’m not the best at spelling but at least I dont use numbers!

I know what you’re talking about and all of those annoy me, but the most annoying one is when PeoPLe TyPE lIKe tHIS. I know they’re just doing it so people will spend 20 minutes reading one sentence but it really gets on my nerves and it’s funny because the more I’ve told people to stop doing it, the more I’ve seen people do it over the internet.
