Gone for good!

Would you be more scared to die if you found out there’s no ware after death??

Answer #1

that is a good question. I think if I ever found that out I would live about the same though, I am happy with the life I live, so there wouldnt be much point changing just because nothing happened after death.

Answer #2

so there’s no such thing as the spirit world??

Answer #3

There is no logical reason to fear death. Death is non-existance. Epicuius summed it up pretty well, “where I am death isn’t, where death is I am not.” We don’t experience death, we just stop existing.

We do have a natural fear of death, this fear of death is crucial for our survival as a species. If we had no self-preservation instinct we would have been extinct long ago.

Of course, I rather enjoy life (most of it anyway) so the more I can manage to have the better as I see it. I would never want to live forever though; imagine how boring that would become! By the time you have done everything a billion times everything would suck. Life is valuable because it is finite. If we had an infinite amount it would have no value.
