Should I go back to school?

should I go back to school?

I went to “normal” school up until the second semester of my freshman year. after that I went to a charter school, got kicked out, and started going to night school. I dropped out second semester of my sophomore year.

now, I’m almost a junior, I’ve realized that I still have the mentality of a freshman. I have this feeling that I don’t know how to describe. like, I see the people I used to go to school with, and I see how much they’ve changed and matured and stuff, and I just feel like I’m stuck where I was before I left normal school. I kind of want to go back, I feel like I’m missing out on the whole experience. when I did go to school, though, I was horribly bullied, and that’s most of the reason why I’ve dropped out. I really can’t handle that. I could possibly go to a different school, but I fear I may face the same problems I did in my old school. and on top of that, I don’t know if I can catch up to the rest of my class. I was already REALLY behind when I dropped out, and now I’m even farther behind.

I know that most of you will say that I should, just because of the whole “you-need-an-education-to-succeed-in-life” thing, but I’d like it if you all could just ignore that fact for this.

Answer #4

You asked if you should go back to school. The answer is yes.

You can work at catching up with your peers and if you work hard enough you can succeed.

We all make bad choices from time to time. It is how well we go about correcting them that determines our future, our happiness and our success.

Set yourself goals. Ones that are realistic. Set them for a week, a month, 6 months and a year. Work at them and as you accomplish them your outlook becomes brighter.
