Giving up

I have been dating my boyfriend for a little over a year now. We both always talked about never cheating and it was a mutual thought that if it would happen then that would be the end no matter what. Well he kissed a girl one night while he was out with his friends. He was piss drunk and got a DUI that night as well. After sobering up in jail for 5hrs he came home and pissed all over the bathroom and then passed out there. He says that he doesn’t remember the kiss happening or even who this girl is. A few months later I found that he signed up for 3 online dating websites. He signed up for the websites before he kissed the girl and was right after we got our dog together. I went through the online dating website and couldn’t find anything. He never viewed anyone’s profile or did anything on them. I have been trying to forgive him for month but even though it was a kiss its very hard for me because my father cheated on my mother and I do not want to go down that path. I can’t seem to walk away but I can’t worry if he’s going to go out with his friends, get drunk, and “forget” what he had done. I’m crazy about him but just don’t know if I can get over it all.
