I think what’s more important here isn’t that you’re not girly enough, it’s that you’re spending a lot of time doing something that you don’t enjoy doing anymore.

Explain to your mother that basketball doesn’t make you happy anymore, but tell her about other activities you’re interested in.

I am the same age and I play basketball too! I hate it though it gets old after a while. explain to your mom that it got old and you want to do other activities to be happy. get a different hair style. layers and side bangs are very cute. find your style and accessorize with jewelery. makeup is a big help too. its so fun to try to make yourself look different. you should always wear lipgloss. hope my advice helped! =)

well…I am a dancer, so I am all for you opening up your dancing world!!! Of course I can’t play b-ball if my life depended on it sooo…if you could do both, by all means sister, go for it and round your talents. YOu can’t do both? Cheerleading and b-ball wouldn’t mesh, but dancing and ball would. I say keep yourself busy and try both if you can. Dance instruction can be a little spendy though especially in bigger cities. Good luck, hey…let that mom of yours know that you want to try different things. NEVER engage in things unless you are passionate about the activity. Otherwise, who is the happiness served to? Your the only one to make yourself happy and fulfilled in life. why fulfill moms life? Make her proud by choosing good choices, but practice your own passions missy!!!
