getting married

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 8 months now. I am almost 16 and he’s almost 18. he’s going to be a part of the national guard soon so that’s a pretty big thing too.
I love him and care about him. our dream is like any other though. to stay together, get jobs, get married and someday have our own children, and live together happily, loving eachother always… the problem is that he’s my first actual boyfriend. the only other boyfriend I had only lasted 6 days. a lot of people say we’re not going to make it. including his parents. and there have been lots of problems throughout our relationship. along with restrictions on when and how long we get to see eachother. I don’t know what to do… and sometimes I wonder if our dreams even will come true…

Being young is hard. Don’t listen to the people telling you that you won’t make it. Know how you and him feel..nothing else matters. Don’t get married right away though. If you want to be together forever and it really is that kind of true love then wait to get married. Being married doesn’t change anything. If what you have is really real then him being your only boyfriend won’t matter either. Most of the time young love grows apart and that is ok because both people go on with their lives happy.
