Getting DEPO out of your system??

After close to two years of getting the shot, it won’t work anyway. It takes away the calcium for your bones too. I’m on it, and I’m going to be put in the Morena. It keeps you from getting pregnant for 5 years and it’s place inside your cervix area.

My boyfriend’s sister started her period when she was 8 and was heavy so she took a shot to get rid of her periods. That didn’t help but once she turned 10 she hasn’t had any periods. She’s 23 now, and the only time she bleeds is when she spots, then she’s pregnant. You might not have your period anymore, or it’s just going to take awhile for your body get used to it’s natural system.

I just asked my doctor that same question about a week ago an she told me that it takes up to 3 months after you stop gettin the shot. An as for the bone loss she put me on prenatiles to boost the vitamin intake. An cause me an my hubby are trying to get prego when im off the shot she said it will also help with that. She said there is really no way to get it outta your system but just to wait it out an not to on an off again do the depo…that actually messes with your bones worse than actually stayin on it full time.
