How to I get back on my diet?

ok. I gained 4 pounds since Monday. I had 4 bad days. and I havnt been able to get back on my diet!!! what do I do tomorrow for food?!??! how do I metally get back on the diet horse?

I don’t believe you really gained 4 lbs in less than a week.

My guess is that your diet is so severe that you go around dehydrated and depleated all the time. When you finally eat something your muscles refuel on glycogen and water and suddenly you gain 4 lbs. Being on an extreme diet guarantees you will fail because sooner or later your gnawing hunger will overcome your willpower and make you fall off the wagon.

Go on a more reasonable diet where you can actually feel fairly satesfied while eating healthy and you won’t be constantly tempted to cheat. Yo-yo dieting where you alternate between starvation and binging is not the road to health. It may take you a long time to get into shape on a reasonable diet but in the long run it is your best strategy.
