I 18, and I want to become a youth worker

HELP!

I 18, and I want to become a youth worker. Howver, I have applyed for a youth worker course level 1 so I have got that over and done with. But can anyone advise me how to get ready for the course or how OI could expand my knowledge in the type of field.

I would be happy if anyone could help me with their expertise

THANKYOU

Usually, people who work in social services get specialized 2 year degrees, or bachelor’s degrees in education, psychology, anthropology (cultural) or similar.

It’s a low paying job as a result, a bachelor’s degree and a year or two of being an intern with a local non profit or governmental program can give you a far better chance of employment than a simple associate’s (two year) degree.
