What are the newest softwares for game design?

I’m 13 and im perrty sure Game Design is what I want to do with my life. I’m very good at art. I just wanted to get some experice with some software. If I get some I can teach myself to use it. Any body know of any?

Flash by adobe is used to make a lot of web based games. Other than that, 3d studio max is one you might look into.

The best way to know exactly what software to use for game design is to look through some job ads for companies that are hiring game developers. That way you know exactly what experience real companies are looking for when they’re making a hiring decision.
