Fun Advice sending email notifications for all FA activities.

Is it possible to reduce or stop (an option for users) the number of emails sent to your personal email address from Fun-Advice for all activities that happens. For example, emails are received when you have fun mail, someone places a comment in the groups etc etc.

If you have only one email address that you use daily and having to go through the inbox just to locate which ones are from your personal friends and acquaintances, at the same time deleting the ones you don’t really read or even open are very time consuming,

The only solution I can think of is to create another email addie just for FA :)

Anyone else agreed with me or you never check your emails hehe.

Under friend management, you can convert the notices to fun mail, instead of email.

Under “default new answer settting” you can change it to not email you when you get a new answer.

On the group page for any given group, you can click “unsubscribe” which then results in none of the new group message notices being sent to you.

Under “toggle site notifications” you can turn off all notices, if you like…however, that means you just have to come back to see what’s new…

on our list of things to do is better, more centralized profile management…hopefully in a month or two.

In the mean time, if you think of an “easy” way we can fix it faster, please let me know :)

For me I thank that instand off notices sending messges too your email address,then they sould send you notices too your funmail account,my friend.

The email notice I got for this question being posted says it was asked by another FA friend, Sri Setiyowati, instead of Samantha. Seems like you guys still have some kinks to work out :)
