What if I made out with my friend's ex?

Recently I went to my mate’s ex’s party, and got drunk. I ended up kissing her ex boyf. Ahe has had other bof. since and did the same with her ex’s best mate. She was at the party but didnt see anything, so we agreed not to tell. Unfortunately somehow she found out. When she confronted me I said it meant nothing, but now she is cutting me out big time, even though she hasn’t tried to talk to me since. Although we never got on anyway, I’m really worried what to do now…we have to see each other nearly every day and are going on a holiday together pretty soon; she has the airline tickets.

Not exactly.

There is an unspoken rule between friends. YOU DON’T MESS WITH EXes!! It doesn’t matter how the relationship ended, or if they SAY it doesn’t bother them…IT DOES. And they probably won’t trust you anymore in general. I’ve seen many a friendship ruined by this behavior…so just don’t do it.

There is an exception to this rule, you have to let a substancial amount of time pass after their breakup before even considering doing anything with their ex.

Do not worry. If this boy is her EX, she has nothing to do or say what you do with that boy or with her EX’s mate. This is only your business.
