I like my best friend and she likes me?

I confessed my feelings to her and she confessed her feelings to me. Basically we’ve been friends with feelings for each other, but friend zoned each other without even knowing it. I asked her if she wasn’t with her boyfriend (who really truly is an ass, she thinks the same) if she think we would work. ‘we’ve lasted this long as friends, picture us just under a title’. Then I pretended to ask her out and she said ‘I would say yes if it weren’t for *john doe I really wish you would have asked me before’ her exact words haha

Anyway, even if she were to ask me out – if she ever did break up with *john doe I wouldn’t go out with her, in fear of not being good enough or being able to please her. etc basically hurting her. so i’ve vowed myself to never be in relationship. x
