How is this possible to be born with lavender eyes?

My friend has Lavender eyes. But, she was born with it. (I know that she was born with it, I’ve seen pictures, and her parents told me)

Answer #1

Lavender eyes are a birth defect. I think it has something to do with albino genetics mixed with blue-eyed- genetics (albinos have red pigmentation in their eyes, red and blue make purple- the same way green and brown make hazel eyes). I’m pretty sure that’s how it works, I think I read it somewhere years ago.

Answer #2

Just remembered- I read it in National Geographic!

Answer #3

both her parents have brown eyes and they’re korean

Answer #4

i always wanted purple eyes, they are so pretty! =D

Answer #5

hmmm I believe that there must have been the two colors somewhere in her family or she may have been adopted

Answer #6

Oh wow, then I’m not sure how it happened. It doesn’t have to be the direct mother and father, like, the genetics could have been made up generations ago and passed down. But I’m not sure you can get Korean albinos?

Answer #7

Oh and I just remembered X) I’m slow. AISH. Anyways, I remembered that her eyes sometimes changes colors. When she’s about to cry, it changes to brown O_O Is that … uhm, possible?
