How do I tell my friend that I like her friend??

So Tyler and me have been texting. I met him through my bestfriend Jordan and she gave me his number a coupple of days ago and we met about a month ago or so. He gives the best hugs and we talk all the time. At first I never thought I would like him but now I kinda do and I want to tell Jordan but don’t know how I should. She has told me a few times that m and him would be cute. So I think she would be ok with it but I want to tell her how should I?

how i would tell my best friend is i would make sure she doesnt like like him and say if it would be ok i would like to go out with me and then i would say hey if ur not ok then maybe u should be if u like him u wouldve asked him out dont be mean about it just ask politely and MAKE her understand and see ur point

If you guys are friends just tell her! im sure shell understand and if she says stuff like “you guys would look cute together” im sure shed be fine with it!
