Does anyone have "freshie week" at their school when school first starts after summer holidays?

Is that where all the seniors get to pick on the freshman, boss them around and abuse them? Ya, but the year after I started high school (1996) they stopped it.

well at my school, they only thing they do is waterballoon us, and paddle us (but not hard). And if some freshman are stupid enough to go to the party, they get it 10 times worse.

We had a bunch of silly things sort of like that at my first high school, but instead of “freshies”, people called them “frosh”.

My school has niners week or something and it’s just the first week to welcome the new students into our school. It isn’t to throw anything at them or torment them in anyway. We just have events that go on through the week and then on friday there’s a dance.

kinda, but i was sick of it the first day and got in a brawl after school and then got suspended. i one that brawl too.

No…never had it…our school was against anything of that sort, especially when the possibility of injury could occur…heck, we weren’t even allowed to play football since a kid got his neck broken back in the 70’s.
