Depends on free style of which type of dancing. Free style dancing is just dancing without planning out your steps so you can do it in any kind of style anything form tap and ballet to hip hop and break lol. Capri’s and a tang top or wife beater with sneakers (that’s what I like) for most would work. For something more like tap or ballroom you’d want something on the clingy side to make sure nothing gets in your way and you can work on structure as much as steps while learning but after you’ve learned it whatever is appropriate for where you are doing it.
