Should I say yes to him?

Ok so I’ve been best friends with this guy for oike 2 months. I really think he loves me, he was talking to my friend naomi about how he has been miserable since we got in a fight and he can’t live without me. I really love him to & all my friends want me to go out with him. I really want him, but I am so scared!! I’ve never been like this with any other guys!! I want to say yes to him (he asked me out) but I’m worried that after I say yes he will only be with me for a week or two before it’s over because after he gets me as his girlfriend all the fun and flirting and teasing is more or less gone and he won’t have anything to stay for. He never gave me that impression but I am so worried!! So I aske dhim about it and he said “Hahaha, don’t worry your beautiful little head. I would never do that to you, youre my life, how could I live without you? You must be crazy. I lvoe you and you should know that.” But I mean if he was really going to leave me after a little while would he even tell me?! NO!! So what do I do, I think I’m in love with him and I know he loves me but how can I be sure he stays with me?

Dear eskimo2008, Well it’s likely he won’t. You are going to be dating a lot in your life time and being with a guy 2 months and both or you thinking you love each other this early is a good indication someone will be hurt. We must go through life’s turmoils with someone to really know them. We must see them under stress, under pressure, angry, upset, interacting with family etc. In the beginning of a relationship we don’t see that, we are still impressing the person. Have our best game face on. There is never a way we can tell someone will stay with us even when we marry and are committed. But we become our own person, strong and confident so if something were to happen we can shake it off and move on. You are not ready for a committed relationships until you can feel this way. Keep it light for now because I’m sure if he were to clarify what he meant it would be he probably lusts you…very different than love. Sue…good luck

well I no this will be hard to hear but I have a friend that has a boyfriend like that and he omes to me all the time telling me that he cant live without her and yadda yadda yadda but he comes to me because he nos ill tell her and that is the only reason why and he nos that shell think its cute and go back out with him when he is jus using her and I try to tell her that but im like w.e now but neway if you do say yes then keep him on a leash for a while and test him a little… dont do any sexual stuff and make sure he isnt using you but all guys are different so he could really want you back because he likes you a lot … hope I helped ~kaitlyn~

omg yeah!! I’m not planning on anything sexual. that’s not really my thing, there are so many girls that have no self value and I don’t want to be one of them!!
