thank you waffletime - that worked! I was mad when I saw the first one b/c I couldn’t get the SD card out but when I saw yours, I felt a lot better so thank you.

@lgxenon123456789 - well you could probably format it the same way as what waffletime said but if that doesn’t work then try what lenmanger said.

I figure out how to format memory card on my AT&T LG Xenon phone. Actually,it’s not hard. Just follow the step below:

  1. Insert your memory card into your computer’s reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com or ebay.com
  2. Open up ‘My Computer’. You should see it under the list of available drives. AT&T cell phone Questions&Answers
  3. Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  4. In ‘My Computer’, right-click on the drive and choose ‘Format’. AT&T Lg Xenon info
  5. Leave all the options as they are and click on ‘Start’. This is a non-reversible more at: http://www.att-phones.org/how-to-format-memory-card-on-att-lg-xenon.html

Yay waffletime!! That works. Thanks!! :)

Answer #8

The above answer I believe requires an SD REader. However I have found that if you go to the the Phone Button-> Press the Settings Gear -> Press the More + button -> Press Connection, and change you USB Settings from Music Sync to Mass Storage, windows will recognize it right away and you can start moving files over, assuming that you have the data cable.

Answer #9

Hi,

To format the card go to Options > Advanced Options > Memory Card. Press the scroll wheel and select Format Card.

Answer #10

You do not need to format the card however. If you see the error “unable to use license” when you connect the USB cable to get to the pictures on this phone. Go in the Settings, click More, click Connection, click USB Connection, set it to Mass Storage here (default is Music Sync). This should do it.
